Like the wisdom shared by Oscar Wilde, teach us to serve not only out of duty but from the quiet joy you plant within us. In the work of healthcare, help us to bloom where we are placed, offering compassion and tenderness as gifts freely given. When the days are heavy and our spirits weary, remind us that each act of care is a living blossom of your love in the world. May our presence bring comfort and healing, simply because your joy is alive within us. Amen.

As people of conscience, we are grieved to think of brothers and sisters made in your image just like us, right now suffering from violence and injustice of extraordinary magnitude. Empower us as a global ministry to continue advocating for all who are victimized and vulnerable, in the ways that we can. May our ardent desire to see peace in your world lead us to implement practical solutions to the injustices we see, both near and far. For the sake of a future worthy of the dignity you have bestowed on us all, without qualification, we pray. Amen.
