Gracious God,

We celebrate the gift of fatherhood today, acknowledging biological fathers and spiritual fathers alike, all those who have played such an active role in our lives, supporting us with wisdom and guiding us with grace. May we honor them appropriately while we continue to look to you, the source and summit of every earthly example of paternal love, welcoming your fatherly affection to lead us all from one day to the next. Amen.
