We gather as one community within our healthcare system, united in our purpose to provide the highest quality care to those we serve. We trust that the work we do is a reflection of your calling, a sacred opportunity to bring healing and hope to others. Thank you for entrusting us with this mission, for equipping us to work together in harmony, and for allowing us to play a part in your vision for a flourishing world. You create us for community, to reach our fullest potential through relationships. Nurture within us hearts willing to give of ourselves that our communities might grow and develop. Fill us with your Holy Spirit that we might face with courage the obstacles and barriers we encounter in striving to help the communities we serve reach their potential by being good help to others, especially people who are poor, sick, and vulnerable. Strengthen the bonds of affection that unite us, that we might improve the health and well-being of our communities. With trust in God, we pray. Amen.

You create us with the potential to do good for those we encounter throughout our lives. Cultivate in our hearts a desire to reach our fullest potential through the service of others. Fill us with the desire to assist others as they strive to reach their fullest potential, recognizing that helping others discover the good within them is a privileged path for realizing our own potential. We pray this in the name of the God who has created us all. Amen.

Today, we recall with reverence the life and witness of Saint Joseph, husband of Mary, mother of God. Inspire us by the example of his faith, who trusted in the presence of God’s guiding hand, even in the face of seemingly unbelievable events. May his example and courage fill us with trust in the promises of God, freeing us to live in hope. We pray this in God’s name. Amen.

Faithful God,

You revealed the depth of your love for us by taking on human life, human flesh, in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. Fill us with your courage, that we might follow your example, giving of ourselves with our whole heart. Keep us grounded through faith in you, even in the midst of obstacles and barriers and our own limitations. May the example of your son Jesus inspire us to do everything we do with our whole heart, fulfilling the promise of each moment with love and care. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Just as your steadfast love calms our fears and reminds us of your constant presence, guide us to extend that same reassurance to all we encounter. May we bring your love to life, especially for those who are poor, dying, or underserved, so they feel your peace through our actions. With faith in your unfailing guidance, we pray. Amen.
