Prayer

God of all,

You create us for community, to reach our fullest potential through relationships. Nurture within us hearts willing to give of ourselves that our communities might grow and develop. Fill us with your Holy Spirit that we might face with courage the obstacles and barriers we encounter in striving to help the communities we serve reach their potential by being good help to others, especially people who are poor, sick, and vulnerable. Strengthen the bonds of affection that unite us, that we might improve the health and well-being of our communities. With trust in God, we pray. Amen.
