Second Sunday of Lent
Reflection
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?” ~Psalm 27: 1
Prayer
Lord of comfort,
So often, our patients come to us burdened by fear, uncertain of what lies ahead. Yet through compassion and care, we have the opportunity to be a beacon of light, easing their anxiety and offering hope. Just as your steadfast love calms our fears and reminds us of your constant presence, guide us to extend that same reassurance to all we encounter. May we bring your love to life, especially for those who are poor, dying, or underserved, so they feel your peace through our actions. With faith in your unfailing guidance, we pray. Amen.
