Merciful God,

A new day has opened before us. Open our hearts to receive the many blessings you are actively seeking to share with us in the hours ahead—through the people and places we are privileged to encounter, the questions and challenges we face, and the myriad decisions for which we need one another. Share your mercy generously with us, today and every day; protect us from harm; and renew our expectation that your healing grace will be working among us today. As we pause and give thanks to you, for you are so good! Amen.

Call to Action

Refuse to be a victim of the tyranny of the urgent. Stop and remind myself that divine help is already here, waiting for me, if I would open my heart to receive it.
