25th Anniversary of Patriot Day
Reflection
"Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11." - Sandy Dahl
Prayer
God of compassion and peace,
On this 25th anniversary of Patriot Day, we remember those whose lives were lost and the enduring grief carried by so many. Help us to honor their memory not only in remembrance, but in action, through even the smallest acts of service and kindness that rebuild unity and hope. In our work in healthcare and in our daily lives, guide us to be instruments of healing, bringing comfort to those who still carry wounds seen and unseen. May we never underestimate how love expressed in simple ways can restore what was broken and draw us closer together as one human family. In honor of those who were lost, we pray. Amen.
Call to Action
Take time today to honor all those lost on 9/11 and then do small acts of kindness in
their remembrance.
