Prayer

Gracious God,

It doesn’t take long as we grow and develop, to discover how easily we can be hurt by the people around us and how easy it is to respond in kind, hurting them back. As we continue through life’s many adventures, lead us each day in the way of forgiveness, that we might assuage the pain of brokenness that comes from our weakness. May we imitate your graciousness and show an abundance of mercy, both towards ourselves and especially to those who need our forgiveness. That all may walk in freedom, we pray, Amen.

Is my heart ensnared by even a hint of unforgiveness towards someone else? Prayerfully consider this question today and as needed, take a new step towards forgiveness.
