Prayer
God of compassion,
We thank you for the many gifts you give us, for the many blessings you bestow upon us. In a special way, we thank you for the sacred opportunity we have each day to touch the lives of others when we serve the needs of those who come to us for care. May this sacred gift inspire within us a renewed commitment to patient safety, especially medication safety, as we strive each day to provide the highest quality care and extend the compassion of Jesus to all those we encounter and serve. We pray this in the name of the God who is the source of compassion. Amen.
