Prayer

Compassionate God,

We are prone to overlook our own faults while pointing out the smallest flaws in others. Give us wisdom to see in new ways. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, give us courage to address the issues we still need to work on. When we engage with others around us, especially those we may struggle to love, help us see them with the same mercy and compassion with which you see us. In service to your vision of a truly healing community, we pray. Amen.
