God of grace,

Give us the courage to release the lives we have carefully planned and to trust the life you are lovingly unfolding before us. When uncertainty or change unsettles us, help us to see possibility instead of loss. Teach us patience in the waiting and openness in the becoming. May we recognize your presence and purpose even in the detours, believing that what awaits us is held in your faithful care. In great anticipation, we pray. Amen.
