Prayer

God of all,
You call us to love the stranger as ourselves and to honor the dignity of all who dwell among us. Open our hearts to welcome those who are new, displaced, or overlooked, seeing them not as “other” but as neighbors and kin. Teach us to act with justice, compassion, and humility in the ways we receive and protect one another, especially with our patients, families and the communities that we serve. May our lives reflect your command to love without borders, serving all God’s children. Amen.

May the cross inspire us to live with faith, courage, and compassion, sharing the gift of your grace with all we meet, especially those we serve each day.  Amen.

Prayer

God of our unique being,

Help us to show our true selves, with honesty, humility, and openness. Remove the masks we hide behind and guide us to live authentically in your presence. May we trust that you bless not the image we present, but the heart you have created within us. Let our lives reflect our genuine selves, rooted in your love and grace, and may we authentically share that love and grace with others. Amen.

National Doctors’ Day

Prayer

God of mercy and service,
On this National Doctors’ Day, we give thanks for the physicians whose lives are devoted to the care of others, especially those who are poor, dying and underserved. Inspire them with wisdom, compassion, and courage as they heal, comfort, and guide those in need. Remind us that a life lived for others, through service, sacrifice, and love, is a life of true worth. May their work be a reflection of your healing presence in the world, bringing hope and dignity to every life they touch. In gratitude for all doctors, we pray. Amen.

Prayer

God of humility and love,

We praise you for the gift of your Son, who entered Jerusalem not with grandeur, but meekly, riding on a humble colt. Teach us to follow His example of humility, service, and gentle strength in our own lives. Help us to welcome Christ into our hearts with openness, ready to walk His path of love, sacrifice, and peace. May His coming inspire us to live with compassion, faithfulness, and courage in the service of others. Amen.
