Good Friday

Prayer

God of mercy and love,
We reflect on the message of the cross, a reminder that even in suffering, your hope shines through. Through Christ’s sacrifice, we are offered forgiveness, healing, and the promise of new beginnings. Help us to embrace this hope in our own lives, trusting that your love can transform pain into renewal. May the cross inspire us to live with faith, courage, and compassion, sharing the gift of your grace with all we meet, especially those we serve each day.  Amen.

Medicaid Awareness Month

Medicaid Awareness Month

Prayer

God of justice and mercy,
This month, we give thanks for the blessings and protections Medicaid provides to vulnerable populations, bringing care and hope to those who need it most. Open our hearts to the work still ahead, that we may address inequities and ensure access to healthcare for all. Inspire us to act with compassion, wisdom, and courage, advocating for systems that reflect your love and dignity for every person. May our efforts contribute to a world where health and healing are truly within reach for all your children. Amen.

Prayer

God of our unique being,

Help us to show our true selves, with honesty, humility, and openness. Remove the masks we hide behind and guide us to live authentically in your presence. May we trust that you bless not the image we present, but the heart you have created within us. Let our lives reflect our genuine selves, rooted in your love and grace, and may we authentically share that love and grace with others. Amen.

National Doctors’ Day

National Doctors’ Day

Prayer

God of mercy and service,
On this National Doctors’ Day, we give thanks for the physicians whose lives are devoted to the care of others, especially those who are poor, dying and underserved. Inspire them with wisdom, compassion, and courage as they heal, comfort, and guide those in need. Remind us that a life lived for others, through service, sacrifice, and love, is a life of true worth. May their work be a reflection of your healing presence in the world, bringing hope and dignity to every life they touch. In gratitude for all doctors, we pray. Amen.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday

Prayer

God of humility and love,

We praise you for the gift of your Son, who entered Jerusalem not with grandeur, but meekly, riding on a humble colt. Teach us to follow His example of humility, service, and gentle strength in our own lives. Help us to welcome Christ into our hearts with openness, ready to walk His path of love, sacrifice, and peace. May His coming inspire us to live with compassion, faithfulness, and courage in the service of others. Amen.

Prayer

God of compassion,

In our work in healthcare, remind us that every act of care creates not only healing for others, but connection and meaning in our own hearts. Help us to see the value of the skills, love, and presence we bring to those who are sick, suffering, or in need. May each patient we serve, each family we support, and each moment of attention reflect your love and affirm the purpose you have given us. Let our work in healthcare be both a blessing to others and a reminder of the gift we are called to share in the world. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
