Prayer

Spirit of life,

As we extend your compassion today, give us eyes to see and respond to those who simply need our accompanying presence, to be with them and for them in their time of grief and sorrow. May we serve them in your name and by your grace—as your hands and feet, doing what we can to comfort and care for them in ways that will make a difference. For the good of our patients, their families, our colleagues and friends, we pray. Amen.
