Memorial of St. Brendan
Reflection
“God’s Spirit is the wind in my sails, and he will lead me wherever he wants me to go.”
– St. Brendan
Prayer
Loving God,
On the feast of St. Brendan, we give thanks for the courage to set out into the unknown, trusting not in our own strength but in your guiding Spirit. Like Brendan, help us to raise our sails in faith, believing that your Spirit is the wind that carries us where we are meant to go. When the waters are uncertain and the horizon unclear, steady our hearts with trust rather than fear. Teach us to release our need for control and to follow your lead with openness and hope. May every journey we take draw us closer to you and to the life you are continually inviting us into. We pray this to the God who loved us first. Amen.

In what ways is God leading me on a journey where I need to open my sail and go where the wind (Spirit) leads me?
