Fifth Sunday of Lent

Fifth Sunday of Lent

Reflection
“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even though they die, shall live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.”   - John 11:25-26

Prayer
God of mercy and renewal,
As we enter this Fifth Week of Lent, open our hearts to the transforming grace you long to give. In the raising of Lazarus, remind us that no place within us is beyond your call to new life. Free us from whatever binds us, fear, sin, or discouragement, and lead us into the hope that only Christ can offer. May this sacred season draw us closer to your heart, preparing us to share fully in the Paschal mystery of death and resurrection. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Call to Action
In what ways do I still need God’s mercy and renewal during these final weeks of Lent? Reflect on these with the notion that God is always there to transform my pain into joy.
