God of courage,

We know that each day presents us with opportunities to extend compassion to others and challenges that can impinge on our ability to take advantage of the opportunities each day provides. Grant us the strength to weather the storms life presents us each day that we might be free to be a source of light for those whom we serve. Bless in a special way all those who serve in our labs, affirming their commitment to patient safety through their daily efforts. Fill our hearts and the hearts of all with the courage needed to overcome life’s challenges that, despite those challenges, we might reflect your loving concern for our patients, colleagues, and communities we serve. We pray in God’s name. Amen.
