Reflection

“The ultimate test of one’s conscience may be the willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard.”  ~Gaylord Nelson

Prayer

Healing God,

The work we do each day—with patients, families, and our communities—is not done for recognition or thanks. We serve for the good of all, trusting that our care brings hope, healing, and a healthier world for generations to come. If our actions are rooted in love and our desire to heal is genuine, then that is thanks enough. Guide our hands and hearts, that through your strength, we may always be a blessing to others. Amen.
