We pause to celebrate the year now behind us and we commit to dream boldly for the sake of the year ahead. No matter our age or season of life, give us courage to live deeper into your calling for each of us, so that every new goal would be a doorway to your vision of love and grace. Silence the voices of fear and pessimism that keep us from stepping forward in faith; and fill us instead with hope and imagination. In the power of solidarity, with you and each other, we pray. Amen.
