“God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress. Thus, we do not fear, though the earth be shaken and mountains quake into the depths of the sea.” ~Psalm 46:2-3

God of peace,

In the midst of chaos and confusion, you remain our steady refuge. When the world trembles with disaster, conflict, and division—even within our own homes—you invite us into the quiet shelter of your heart. There, fear fades and peace takes root. Remind us that your presence brings calm to every storm and purpose to every trial. Strengthen us to be vessels of your goodness, offering peace where there is unrest, and love where there is pain. For this we pray. Amen.

Call to Action

In the midst of a struggle I may face today, remember to take time to find refuge in God’s heart. Remain there until fear fades and peace reigns within my being.
