Reflection

“He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.” ~ John 21:17

Prayer

God of vocation,

Through your son Jesus, you called St. Peter and St. Paul to follow the path of discipleship. Both Peter and Paul responded to your call, each in their own way. Open our hearts and minds to your presence that we too might respond to your call for each of us. Inspire us through your Holy Spirit, that like Peter and Paul, we too might walk the path of discipleship throughout our lives. Amen.
