“In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary.” Luke 1:26-27

Prayer

God of peace and goodness, in the pages of scripture, the angels are beings who do your will and herald your good news. On this feast of the archangels, may we be inspired to do your will in our lives and serve as heralds of your good news by the words we speak and the lives we lead. In God’s name we pray. Amen.
