Good Creator,

We honor Mary’s bodily assumption into heaven today and rest in the assurance it gives, especially to those of us serving in your ministry of healing. For we know that your work of redemption includes our physical bodies, along with the rest of material creation! Therefore, fill us with hope as we care for patients now struggling with bodily sickness and physical suffering. Give us strength and stamina to continue extending your work of redemption, guided by Mary’s example and with the grace of her intercession. Amen.

God of love and renewal,
Remind us that even the smallest act of love carries the power to restore and awaken the soul. Given the selfless example of Maximilian Kolbe, help us to choose kindness, compassion, and generosity in every moment, especially when it feels most needed. May our actions bring life where there is weariness, hope where there is discouragement, and light where there is darkness. Let your love flow through us, renewing both the giver and the receiver. Amen.

When life’s winds shift beyond our control, teach us to adjust with wisdom and trust. Help us to focus less on what we cannot change, but rather more on how we respond with courage and faith. Guide our hearts to remain steady, our spirits flexible, and our purpose clear. May we move forward with confidence, knowing that with you, we can navigate any path toward the destination you have set before us. In trust, we pray. Amen.

Help us to be attentive to new ways of living and loving each day. Open our hearts to recognize the quiet nudges and gentle calls that lead us toward growth and deeper compassion. Give us the courage to respond with trust, even when your invitations lead us beyond what is comfortable or familiar. Shape our lives so that each “yes” to you becomes a step toward greater purpose and grace. May we follow where you lead, becoming instruments of your love in the world. Amen.

You gave yourself completely for us, holding nothing back. Teach us to love you with that same fullness, in heart, mind, and spirit.  Shape our lives so that our love, like that of St. Clare, is not partial or hesitant, but generous, faithful, and whole. May our response to your great love be seen in the way we live, serve, and give ourselves to others. In the spirit of St. Clare, we pray. Amen.
