You’ve gifted us with laughter as a gentle balm for weary hearts and heavy days. In moments of humor, we glimpse the freedom and peace you long for us to know. Help us to recognize when laughter can lift a spirit, ease a burden, or simply bring people closer together. May we never take ourselves too seriously to smile, and may our joy be a reflection of your goodness. In a spirit of gladness, we pray. Amen.
