Yet it is not always a place we need to go be alone and quiet, so much as a stilling of our hearts and minds, right where we are. Help us to recognize and embrace these sacred moments of silence, so that our relationship with you may deepen. For this we pray. Amen.

Each day we are offered countless gifts from your loving hands—the rising sun on the horizon, bees gathering pollen from flowers, the awe of a mountain vista, and the refreshment of rain on a dry day. These are all reminders of your deep love for creation, and for that we are truly grateful. Life’s obstacles, challenges, and stress can easily distract us from the value of patience.
