Prayer

Lord God,

June brings the gift of warmth and beauty, inviting us to step outside and embrace your creation. The songs of birds, the laughter of children, and the bloom of flowers remind us of your endless love. We thank you for these blessings and the renewal they bring to our spirits. Help us to cherish and care for the earth, honoring the gift you have entrusted to us. With grateful hearts, we pray. Amen.

Prayer

God of all,

Each day, patients seek our care, hoping for healing and comfort. Regardless of their background, we are called to see each person as your beloved child, worthy of dignity and love. Help us to serve with open hearts, recognizing your presence in every face we encounter. May we love without cost, just as you have loved us. In your mercy and grace, we pray. Amen.

Prayer

God of action,

Jesus proclaimed your love not only in words but through his deeds, showing us the way to live out your dream for the world. As we serve our patients, families, and co-workers, help us to reflect that same love in both our speech and our actions. May our prayers be transformed into acts of compassion and kindness. Guide our hands to do your work each day. For this we pray. Amen.

Prayer

God of all creation,

As we journey through life, we often struggle to distinguish between the weeds and the flowers, the challenges and the joys. Yet, both have their purpose and contribute to the fullness of life. Help us to embrace the struggles that strengthen us, just as we cherish the joys that bring us peace. May we find beauty in both, knowing that each plays a role in your divine plan. In gratitude, we pray. Amen.

Fill our hearts each day so that we may extend compassion to our patients, families, and communities. May your presence strengthen our work and deepen our love for those we serve. For this, we pray. Amen.

Prayer

God of uniqueness,

So often in life, we find ourselves wishing to be someone else, thinking they are stronger, more beautiful, or more gifted than we are. Yet when we pause and reflect on the blessings you have given us, we begin to see the beauty within our own lives. Guide us to cherish the gifts you have planted in each of us and to resist the urge to compare ourselves to others. Together, we create a world rich in uniqueness and wonder. Amen.

Prayer

Indwelling God,

Today we celebrate St. Jarlath, the Irish saint and scholar, known for his wisdom and learning, devotion to prayer, and generosity towards others. We ask for a share in such gifts, so that we might be agents of the same faith, hope, and love in places of need and for those who are vulnerable. Dwell with us, enlighten our journey, and be our constant accompaniment—as we strive to extend your compassionate ministry, especially for those who are poor, dying, and underserved. Amen.
