Spiritual Care Week

Spiritual Care Week

Reflection

“Spiritual care contributes to the holistic approach to healing and death with dignity. It is a source of comfort, hope, and clarity for so many of our patients. It provides an opportunity for patients to share in a non-biased way those thoughts, fears, and feelings that may otherwise be unaddressed.” –Anonymous, survey respondent

Prayer

Loving God,

In accord with the mission to which you have called us, we believe that all people are deserving of the wholeness that comes from conscientious attention to every facet of our humanity: mind, body, and spirit. During Spiritual Care Week, we give thanks for those who have dedicated themselves to serving the spiritual health of others. And we ask you to bless them with the renewal of their own spirits, that they may be equipped and empowered to do good for others today and each day. Amen.
