“May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones, and what is the surpassing greatness of his power for us who believe, in accord with the exercise of his great might.”

Prayer

Mighty God,

When hope begins to wane within us, open the eyes of our hearts, to see once again how blessed we are to be called by your name. May we rejoice that you trust us to share your life-giving words and deeds, extending your compassionate touch to all those in need. Remind each one of us of the stories of healing we have personally witnessed and experienced, that we might be revived through the power of faith, hope, and love. Amen.

Call to Action

When the day begins to grow hectic, make the choice to be still and quiet for at least three minutes, refocusing upon my source of inner strength.
