Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Reflection

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.” ~ 1 John 4:7-8

Prayer

Triune God,

Today, we celebrate the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. It is a day to reflect in a special way on who you are and who we are called to be. We are created in your image and likeness, the image and likeness of three persons united in love. May we who aspire to reflect your image and likeness in our living be inspired by this celebration to pursue not our own interests but rather the good of the broader human community.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Call to Action

Take time today to reflect on the mystery of the Trinity. If God is a Trinity, what does that say about who I am called to be?
