Communication
National Braille Day
Reflection
“Access to communication in the widest sense is access to knowledge, and that is vitally important for us. We do not need pity, nor do we need to be reminded that we are vulnerable. We must be treated as equals, and communication is the way we can bring this about.” ~ Louis Braille
Prayer
Lord of love, as a ministry, we stand with and for the dignity of all people. In a special way today, we recall the importance of the ability to communicate in the pursuit of equality and the promotion of human dignity. Help us to always be attentive to the importance of all voices as we strive to be a more inclusive and diverse community. Amen.
